October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Statistics indicate that one out of every eight women will develop breast cancer sometime in her lifetime. If detected early, the five-year survival rate is 98 percent. Mammograms are the most effective form of early detection.

The Breast Center at San Ramon Regional Medical Center is offering extended hours every Wednesday in October, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Call 925.275.6116, or visit www.sanramonmedctr.com.
